Yes. You could say it’s either part of my regular day job or paid hobby these days......

Love the attention to details, @MadMrB! It's the details and little things that really make for a special bike that has one's own "stamp" on it. Fun thread!

My 2019 Speed Triple RS on the day I bought it---Nov. 23, 2018

And (mostly) as it is today. My changes were all quite minor as I loved that bike "as is" from the get go. PowerBronze fly screen, fork and frame sliders, Evotech tail tidy, Motogagdet mirrors, Rizoma LED front turn signals, (not shown) an R & G kickstand shoe, and Triumph Speed Triple Low seat.

I also got a sweet Nelson-Rigg tail bag that I keep strapped to the pillion that came with my bike. I can just remove the pillion and bag combo if I don't need it and put the painted tail piece back on which takes all of about 30 seconds.

Grainy image is the night I picked up in February and stored it at daughter dear's garage in Chicago. The 20 mile ride from buyer to shelter with an outside temperature of -9 C was both brutal and exhilarating. Trucked it to Iowa in April of that year and started work. Blue had been haphazardly chopped with the rear fender removal looking like they used an axe. Fabricated new blinker mounts and a custom tail tidy, found a checkers fairing on eBay (NOS) and spruced up the mirrors and bar-ends. Now a reliable daily driver and my go-to bike for all occasions. 2002 Speed Triple. First image is finished Blue on a summer morning going to work. Ride to work - Work to ride.

Such a subtle change with big impact. Looks way better than the puke green! Well done, vinyl wrap or was that sprayed over? New wheels too or p-coated?

It was painted last year, in fact it was a ‘Sunday afternoon job’ as I was having my roast dinner I just thought the green has got to go now as it overstayed it’s welcome and started it there and then. I don’t ‘dislike’ green but not when the frame, cylinder heads and forks are grey blue to contrast to.

Matt black went to dark anthracite gloss and went straight over the green decals in this case to blue with bronze outline as it was a quick job with dinner still dripping of my beard:confounded:!! Wheels chemically stripped as I wanted no green under-chips AF3D8434-B6C6-45E4-B305-8784B81B348F.jpeg A8DFCE81-C719-4CF7-BFED-DB761BD70ADA.jpeg

It was love at first sight... But she obviously needed a bit of tweaking!

Sometime later I'm still in love but she is a real stunner now.
