Oh bloody hell, you’ve got Cal onto his graphs again... o_O

As a Northerner, I’m so hard I think you’ll find that Covid is actually looking for a vaccination against me! :poop:

Well she might have but I know a guy who just won't under any circumstances have a needle stuck in him and he's a doctor. He's just got this thing about needles, it happens. Anyones mum could have the same phobia or there could be other reasons for not having had the vaccine.

Nope. Not scared on either count.

If needed and if properly tested. The debt will be our great grandchildren’s the way Boris is borrowing.....doubtless Nicola thinks she can welch on it......

Late to this thread and only going to say that, no I won't be having the vaccine until a good number of guinea pigs have been experimented on first. Living in a very rural location where, touch wood, we haven't had a single confirmed case in the village yet and as I don't really socialise much or have to see other people often at less than the advised distance at the very least, we will hold back and see what happens to others first. I am not anti-vaccine by any stretch and, as carer for my wife both she and myself have the flu jab every year but, hopefully that one is tried and tested to a reasonable extent and is, at the very least, guaranteed to do no harm. I can fuel my bikes and car at unmanned fuel stations, I can have grub delivered to my door and I can live my life without meeting the 'infected' so I am in a happy place to watch the world crumble :)

Except that the figures were already dipping BEFORE lockdown 2 started.

    U.K.
What have vaccines ever done for us? Well, apart from getting rid of Polio, Mumps, Measles, Hepatitis A & B, Smallpox, Rubella. Hmmmm, let me think about that for a moment

Fair play Marty, sounds like your taking a measured approach, assess the risks and come to a common sense decision, unfortunately I think there is a significant portion of the population that are incapable of such rational decision making! The question is how to mange the virus in the best way for the masses, just glad I’m not the one to make those calls. All I can do is take what I see as the best path for me and my family.:mask::confused:?

Oh I’ve had Yellow Fever and quite a few more besides but you comprehensively miss the point, perhaps deliberately. Only a religious zealot or science denier would oppose them provided they are:
    Safe
    & Necessary
Covid vaccines have had truncated testing and we are being locked down to await their arrival when there is plenty of evidence nature has beaten the pharmaceuticals to the punch. The pandemic is withering. But you must make your own mind up on that.

Just had a call from our Doctors Surgery, Vaccine Jab booked for me and Mrs Rooster for this Friday. Both in the 60-65 group, so our Doctor seems to be ahead of the curve.

I'm in the same gang so hopefully mine won't be that far behind but I've no idea where our area is in the vaccination role out though.

I had my vaccine just over a week ago, I had a bit of a sore arm for a day and a bit of a sniffle, I am really pleased I’ve had it and looking forward to my second vaccine.

I’m only having it if required to go to the TT. That’s our “family” holiday every year. You can keep your all inclusive holidays to Benidorm thank you very much ! I’ll get over it if I’m unable to go to Spain or France ever again lol !!
