Has anyone had a look at the settings on Wordle? There is a Hard Mode which insists that all revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses. it had never occurred to me to do anything else. But when you think about it with a five by six matrix you have 25 slots to get 5 out of 24 possible letters before your final guess.
I saw that as well Wessa . I guess we will have loads of advert banners down the sides of the tables, just like a forum I sometimes use …..
Well done @Hubaxe, I did a two separate word start and pull a 3 out of the bag as well @Dawsy - lets hope it remains free, I’ve started on a daily sudoku challenge too, which is free (takes me a lot longer - 20 min odd time investment - and advert free... but I’m not sure if my AV is ad blocking)
The New York Times said it bought the hit word game from its creator for a price "in the low seven figures". The newspaper publisher said the game would initially remain free to play. As soon as they start charging for it they can stick it where the sun don’t shine. At the mo I am 26/26 with no 1s or 6s.
I like them as you can put them down and it doesn’t sit in your brain niggling away, because you can’t hold that much information in your noggin at one time... saying that, today’s was a stinker, I managed it in under an hour, but that was between jobs I’m on with.
In two today, had a very lucky first guess which gave me three letters in the right place, and one in the incorrect place meaning I only had one more to guess.
Better buy yourself a lottery ticket then before the luck runs out. Have only had one 2. Waiting for my 1 in 2,135 chance for a successful first guess.
Fluky inside ten mins with only three letters all in the wrong place but the word seemed to jump out to me. Gonna call Ghostbusters
Got it in three today , first guess , three correct letters , one in the correct place. Just chose right luckily ....
I’m getting worse at this. 5 today, choice of 2 words on line 4 and got the wrong one. But my coffee was particularly lovely this morning….and worse than that Mrs O did it in 3. My wrong words were better than hers though……
Got it in five today , first guess caste ! Got two but in the wrong places. Second grass now three and one in correct , third guess only one ! Fourth had all but the first letter ! Unlucky could have been Four !
