Yeah - whatever Covid; Brexit, politics and any other shitty, stupid topic might conspire to divide or hurt us - individually and/or collectively - I figure we all have two great things in common ..... TRIUMPH and LOVE Hopefully those two great things that we all share will help these two lovely people to come through a horrible experience with the minimum of pain or suffering.
Just seen this Billy. As I said previously good luck for a full recovery for Christine and stay positive mate
Bad Billy / Christine. Just caught up with things here. Mate i don't use that word very often unless i mean it. If you and Christine just got a shiver that was me in spirit holding both your arms. Do take some warmth in knowing that i really care and send all my wishes for a speedy recovery for Christine. God Bless you both. And i have to agree with Dozers Dad if she puts up with you she has to be a treasure as well as a very beautiful Lady. I am here for you if you need and i will say a prayer tonight for you all. God Bless and keep you both. Love & Respect and Prayers. Joe
Just read your news Billy and it’s so sad to hear after such an awful year we’ve all had to endure. All my very best wishes to Christine, you and the rest of your family. Here’s praying that her treatment is short and successful, and that you can all pull through it together. Take care of each other mate
Just saw this, sorry to hear your news. Wish you both all the good luck in the world! Been there ourselves and know how hard it can be, but these things can get sorted DS
Bugger. Just seen this thread. Glad the prognosis is as good as can be expected in the circumstances and I hope that all is well for your future. The racing can wait for now whilst you support Christine through this difficult time. Just make sure you have someone you can sound off to - even if it's just the occasional rant on here. Best wishes to the pair of you. Dave.
All the best Billy to you and your misses, life can deal cruel blows - stay strong and take good care.
Great news!!! I know you're not so worried about the work situation even though it is enough to tick anybody off -it'll sort out. Thanks for the update.
Very good news Billy Plenty of support and love will still be needed mate and I’m sure you’ll give to Christine
If positive vibes can get through then there'll be a whole raft of them coming from this corner of Devon! SO good to hear that Chris is making good progress, albeit slow but steady - it's much the best way post surgery - and we both hope it continues. Much love and best wishes to you both!
So far so good. Showed Lesley your post - she had far fewer lymph nodes removed though and thought 14 was a lot, but different people have varying numbers of lymph nodes, up to around 30 on occasions. So maybe not excessive. She was most pleased that all seemed to be going well. Beware of lymphedema (lymphoedema?) though. It can be a right bugger! And don't forget the moisturising cream before radiotherapy starts. Not you, Billy yer daft sod, that's for Christine! DOH!!!!!!
You're very welcome. Just relieved that Christine got the treatment that she required in these strange times. It seems that many unfortunately don't at the moment.
Thanks for the link BBv2 - although a headsup via PM would have been better than just telling me to look for 'swansong' jesus.... Glad to see the recovery is going well, and if you want me to bring some hobnobs over in return for another toastie, I am all yours/hers. Ref next year, there is always 2022 and at least you can lose more weight and gain more time
