Yes one of our hospitals closed completely during the pandemic due to lack of business, many are subcontracting staff out to other areas of the country due to lack of business. But we see the same irresponsible graph every day presented by a Democrat governor. It's election year and the only snowball chance in hell the dems have is to rig mail in ballots. WTF use the only entertainment venue allowed to be open (state run casino's) to be polling places where people can vote. What the matter with this picture?
Yeah, I know that but wanted to add a personal good luck message, anyway. I'm afraid the shitpitt (actually it's the soakaway part of the "system" so more like a pisspitt! ) work remains ongoing. We've dug up - well, a local guy with proper Tonka Toys type kit has dug up - the original system and found that 40+ years of use of an amateur installion of utterly inappropriate (bit of a marf full, that, wonnit?) material has created a series of sludge-blocked pipes that were almost certainly the cause of the frequent self destruction of the submeresible pumps that are the VITAL part of the system! I coould have written that in about five words ("the system was totally f*cked!") I suppose, but .... once a pedant! So, I'll be back into the shitpitt in a few minutes and will probably not see full completion for a couple of days as the digger and skidster are chewing up the land when dry so won't get used when it's wet .... which it's about to be. Very. ENOUGH OF THIS SH!T ermmmmm..... so to speak. How did the sesh go? Bike all set up and ready to rock? Your racing head back in the zone? No untoward moments? The BBR members club awaits news. We need the write up, Billy.
Great write-up, Billy and I'm pleased to say that, once motivated/proddedyou, too, can go on a bit .... in a much more interesting and meaningful way than my purposeless prose! Thanks for the follow up - much appreciated by the fan club.
Sounds like you had a great day Billy and a good write up, I admire your skills i'd be crapping buckets trying to go round a track at speed good on you mate.
769 cos it shows how bad the conditions were 1208 trying hard. I see a few pics of Dave, is the Bandit series happening again this year @Bad Billy
Yep. 183 has it all for me,, BB - good focus on the "thousand yard stare"; blurring of the track and tyres and good positioning of the subject ... just ahead of centre ..... suggesting speed and progress. It's all very subjective, I know, but you did hint at the need for opinion and so I'm offering mine (despite the analogy about opinions and arseholes ... ). The restriction on photographers seems wholly unfair - especially at those prices! £10 for a digital image? If THAT kind of expense continues to obtain throughout whatever racing season you/we might have we'll be resurrecting the Bad Billy Racing Fund appeal for a couple of photos rather than packets of 'kin Hobnobs ...........................................
Well .... kinda! Actually, my view of that shot was based on the fact that you can clearly see that it's you, and you're clearly on the racing line, banked over at speed, knee out; shoulder forward; head positioned to see through the line and 'in the zone'. So, the pseudo technical photography bits were simply used to explain the immediate reasons to offer my opinion. I KNOW that it doesn't make mine any more valuable than anyone else's, just adds another dimension or perspective to the mix. Nothing wrong with being proud of your achievements - or even of the efforts made/demanded to actually make those achievements. Wish I had the balls to do it! You're still the man. And I still stand by my stated views on the preferences!
Tenner each????????????? Licence to print money!! Especially nowadays when tha dunt have to develop em!!
