You approached the day with the right attitude, and built on what you’re riding. You did well mate, buuuut the Hob nob business is still playing on my mind!!!
Well done on the weekends testing Bill, as it's been already said, it's given you a little insight into what to expect come that first race weekend, get the first race butterflies behind you and I'm sure you'll have a hoot
Was the noise test ride by or static and at what revs 5K ? As a matter of interest what was the ‘BB Team Racing Bandit’ noise test result
Looks good Billy, mind some of those boys were flying. Was the sun a problem for you, as it looks it was in the clip?
Being dyslexic I read thread that as CRIME IS OK! shame on you That took a shit more time than you may imagine
One of the things is Billy you’ll not encounter the bigger, quicker bikes in your races. I’ll bet that if you were circulating with orange jackets in your race class you’d have felt comfortable and had a good dice or two. Something to look forward to.
Damn Billy you got the style mate, that’s for sure. Build up steadily like you say and the times will come to you. I’ll try to get to Donington/Cadwell later in the year with some biskwits
Looking good Billy,How many laps did you do in each session? The sound and quality from the camera is pretty good, where did you put the Microphone?
The waterproof housing (clear plastic clip on yin) does muffle the sound a little, but ok for what we want. It does cut out all the wind noise, which is a good thing.
When I got my go pro it came with 3 “back doors”, one was fully waterproof with a solid clear plastic centre, one was showerproof with a thinner flexible plastic film and one was open. Obviously the best sound comes with the open back whilst still reducing wind noise but the showerproof one also gave good sound with the reassurance of protection should it come on to rain whilst out.
Well done Billy, thoroughly enjoyed the commentary and the video. Track days are preparation and you increased your speed and performance over the day without overdoing it and stacking the bandit. Look forward to following from a far, best of luck
Sweet that came out of my book when one of my pals passed me up the inside, only difference there was no sun
Race pace, a la Valentino Rossi. He always turns up the wick on race day....sure you will too. Good luck
