Billy you seem to be getting out of control with the face palms. Regardless of the racing issues you seem to become a little Thatcherite with power. I think th face palming needs policing
Great summary on progress Billy. I'm looking forward to seeing a great outing next time. I reakon you need deep pockets to race?
It’s an odd thing getting race experience, because you do crash and you start to get quicker to rebuild things on the fly you also end up taking a lot more parts with you.. Still good fun though
Billy is the sump strainer clean and undamaged after the debris was flying round in there. I know you would have checked,,,,,,not trying to teach you how to sunk eggs mate
It’s all part of the nooo crashing is not to be recommended, but it does teach you a hell of a lot Mainly it usually hurts and secondly it definitely costs
Billy I know you’ve not started your Donny thread yet so I’m putting in an official request through this thread for full B.B. Racing hospitality at Donny on Saturday 11th May. I’m away as of tomorrow so thought I’d better get my request in before the rush
Good luck with the rebuild Billy... I suspect you will get hit with import duty, I know I did when I bought panniers from America a few years ago.
It’s the luck of the draw with import duties, I brought in about fourty items and paid dutie on about five
Sorry it's going to have to be Saturday for me, SWMBO has had us booked for a family do on the Sunday and I haven't put it in my schedule.
I’d put the agree thing up but it might be misconstrued, Saturday, but only cos I can’t do Sunday. Nearer the time we’ll have to firm up the details.
Can’t you take her somewhere to warm up and then go over every nut/bolt to make sure they’re still tight, especially the ones on the exhaust headers.
Thanks for the update Billy, enjoying the race threads and wish you well for four more signatures. They call it novice for a reason, and even with your previous experience, every format has its learning time. Here’s to clean finishes
You'll crack it Bill, still very early days, once you get the bike set up to suit you I imagine things will begin to click....tiny steps before you start to leap , here's hoping that the next pic of you on the podium is at the end of a race
It's REALLY impressive - to me, at least - that you can be so comprehensively self-analytical and self-critical with something as personal and emotive as competitive motorcycle racing. Amazing. I can't help but think that the cool head side of you that's produced the analysis and criticism is going to be channelled and applied to getting better progressively rather than trying to get results instantaneously. If that does happen, then I think we'll all see, and applaud, the progress and the achievements. Go get 'em, Billy! But go carefully!
