    Just a quick update.
Had the drift on the bike a couple of weeks now.
i do not suffer from the same issue as you did, mine works perfect now i have gotten my head round the settings.
Also did the external mic mod yesterday. Brilliant!!! fiddly job if you have sausages for fingers putting the pigtail in camera.
bought two mics from ebay at £2 each
1 is permanent in the helmet for when helmet mount used
2 is permanent clipped on the underside of the flyscreen, running down to camera when mounted to bike.
Tried both today on mic setting low.
a lot better than i expected, virtually wind proof, even at 70mph.

Seen this first hand, and Youve done a great job of the mods.... Just as you have with fitting the gear indicator into the clock cowl.

I know where to come when I want the same doing. :D;)

Agree Tony. Opens the whole back end up. Of course you'll lose whatever protection the pegs offer in the event you lay it down, but best to not dwell on that side of it eh?

    Did ya plug the holes?
