Me too! 1974. I was 12. Made pilgrimage to London from US in 2009 to see the 40th anniversary reunion. Awesome trip.

 

Kudos for Cheap Trick. They're a great band.

 

Sadly or luckily I was old enough to see mott the hoople live in the 70's .

Wow, a Canadian who didn't go Rush! I thought they were a religion in their home country.

 

Oh, well, of course they are. The Tragically Hip, too. Just not my personal stuff to really 'feel'. So much to admire in both those bands, but I don't put them on to listen to. Now, the 'Guilty Pleasure' music choices would be a whole new list.

Actually, and off topic, we listen mostly to internet radio; OffRadio and Radio Paradise- the World and Eclectic Mix.
