If you need an expert LINC programmer (like you're working on a 30 year old computer system) then I'm your man.

I used to just be a dinosaur but am now officially extinct.

I'm a squaddie, I joined in 1995 after getting arrested for being a little shite and said I would do three years until I knew what I wanted to do, 18 years later and I'm shitting myself about being a civilian in 4 years time! I now run the communications aspect of my regiment and I am temporarily looking after other little shites as the Unit Welfare Officer! My Doris is a self employed driving instructor in Catterick and I've got 2 little lads who are going to play rugby league for Leeds Rhinos!

I'm a IT systems architect / software engineer contractor, have been in the trade since 1997 when I graduated electronics engineering and started out with mainframe / EDI programming. I should have gone into chip / circuit design but chose something more widespread to give me more options. Currently I am part of a software development team working on a system supporting a nationwide network of glazing / locks surveyors and engineers with PDA's and depots / headoffice with windows systems.

It,s better than a proper job mate, hours get a bit long this time of year with new cars and all that. I,m factory based which is great in the summer months when the race team are away and there,s plenty of time to make little bits and pieces for the bikes!
