I've had fun with all my bikes - but none of them have put a grin on my face like my current 2005 speed triple...

if we were talking most fun on a mates bike you got lent....

XT 500,it would wheelie going round corners on knobblies, what a laugh

same mate, wassell trials bike with a sachs engine, it would wheelie in every gear from a standing start until you hit top gear, wow

from another mate, a TS 250 which I had for a week touring in devon and cornwall, got stopped by a copper on a honda g5 (I know) in woolacombe for pulling wheelies outside a pub and putting motorcyclist into disrepute....

In a similar vein for pure simple chuckability and chuckles I have great memories of my Yamaha DT250MX which looks a bit clunky now but would corner at improbable speeds on well inflated knobblies and Green Lane brilliantly.
It’s finest hour was Christmas Day 1978 when my wife to be was on shift in hospital and I accidentally went swimming somewhere near Buntingford on a Roman road. Upside down, plug out, I cranked most of the water out and it fired right back up again when righted. It was otherwise a long walk and I was wet through......

...the one I’ve got now ! ... Triumph Street Scrambler ... from the first few seconds of the test ride the fun factor shot up to 10 /10 . . apart from the excitement of being a new rider in the 1960s and wobbling around Manchester’s wet cobbled streets on my Tiger Cub ha ha

This is a great question; I've owned many bikes but which was most fun? I'm very much enjoying that for a lot of people it was a little bike like an RD or a Fizzie.

    Here's my list:

    1983 Suzuki 650
    1983 Kawasaki GPz 305
    1986 Honda 500 Interceptor
    1990 Honda CBR1000F
    2002 Yamaha R1
    2001 BMW R1100S
    2007 Aprilia Tuono
    2001 Aprilia Mille R
    2008 Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport
    2009 BMW K1300S
    2013 Aprilia RSV4
    2005 Aprilia Tuono Racing
    2018 Triumph Bonneville
    2019 Triumph Speed Twin

There are some very competent bikes here, but most of them are kinda serious.

The R1 was the most beautiful, the Moto Guzzi and the Bonneville have the most character. The K1300S had a ridiculous motor that launched you into hyperspace on a sniff of gas--if there was a way to measure midrange acceleration everything else would look pretty harmless by comparison. The RSV4 made a splendid noise sort of a like dragon gargling steel ball bearings.

But the two standouts are the Mille R and the Speed Twin. The Mille R was bright yellow, dripped with high end parts and it felt like a special occasion every time I took it out. I'm most sentimental about that bike, but was it the most fun?

Most fun has to go to the new Speed Twin. It's compact and nimble and the acceleration is brilliant. It makes me laugh. So Speedy it is!

Loved all my bikes for different reasons, but have had the most fun riding my current Speedmaster purely due to riding for the fun of it instead of travelling to a destination.
Even looking at it in the garage is now enjoyable and I have the most confidence in its reliability and performance over any previous ride.
I still have a soft spot for the Dynaglyde chopper, as that was so impractical it was only fun

I rode a mates RD400 when I was a lad of 16 & after my SS50 it felt mental! How I didn't die I will never know. When I grew up the most impressive bike I had was a 14 plate ZZR1400, that was insanely quick & after 10,000 miles it still impressed & surprised me. But I reckon the most fun bike I had was a 15 plate Street Triple RX. It was quick enough & I felt I was in control of this (unlike the ZZR!) It was light & stopped well & it was great on fuel. Now have a Speed triple S which is good but not as much fun as the Street.

best bike i had was a Gpz 550 unitrak it was a couple of years after my ban, All i could afford after the ban was anything under 200cc. Insurance was huge it was over £400 in the late 80s. The Gpz was my first big bike when i was back on the road and i drove it everywhere in every weather. On my days off i would do a couple of hundred miles on it by myself, never let me down always started first tip and could run most 750s of the road.

i felt the same about my gs 500 twin it was the most boring bike in the world no character no fun mpg was like a 125 even if it broke down (which it didn't) that would have zested it up a bit,

Most fun for me has to be my 2006 Blade. Best bike I ever owned and went all over Europe on it. Owned from new and sold after 10 years of ownership.. After tinkering with the engine and losing too much weight I finally got to see 181mph showing on the speedometer on the German Autobhan

I've been at all corners of the country with this bee. Always full throttle.

1973 Honda CR250 Elsinore, though I've had a lifetime of fantastic experiences on a number of different bikes. I have very high hopes for my Speed Twin.

There have been many but if pushed to choose I would have to say my Ducati Diavel Gen1 - it is awesome fast and loud - with modifications EXTREME fun :) - other contenders, Triumph T120, Kawasaki Zephyr 750 and Kawasaki Z1000 all created massive smiles.

Most fun bike, I've ever had? Thats easy for me. Its one of those I have in the garage now. The bloody thing wants to pull my arms out of their sockets every time I climb on board. Its stupidly quick, but handles like its on rails. It never ceases to put a grin on my face every time I go out on it. Which one? This one.

I have to say, I don't think I'm as old as some of you lot talking about RD250s - and I'm pushing 50!

15 years ago, this was what I had the most fun on when commuting from Snodland to Basildon.

It probably runs the Striple pretty close today though.
