I'll be wearing my dad's Harris tweed jacket, it's older than me 60+ and is guaranteed against depleted uranium projectiles....probably

My ageing rukka textiles are a little worn now, so decided to replace them with a new set. Went for the Nivala Gore-tex jacket and pants. Have to say they are brilliant and if I get 10 years plus from this set as I did from my originals I will be well please. :):)

Not quite feeling the pain in the U.S. as far as filling up the tank on the motorcycle. Now, filling up my pick-up is a different story, I'm not "Russian" out to fill that up. Taking to riding the bike more often now, weather permitting. I'm not trying to be flippant, if I posted my real feelings I would probably be banned after one day!

Yep comfortable and very functional. For me rukka is the best textile kit on the market.

A black engine bolt kit for the Scrambler. Obviously not essential kit but I think it improves the looks and I just love titivating. :grinning:

"Titivating" - had to Google the definition of that, @Pegscraper. My forum learning for the day (so far, it's only 7:20am here). And that word will be a welcome addition to my lexicon because I it turns out that I love titivating, too! :grinning:

I ordered a new brake hose kit from Venhill Tuesday afternoon and it arrived first thing this (Thursday) morning, not bad considering the lines are made to order. Decent price too, £54 with delivery.

Length matches the one that came with the Speedmaster's original 'beach bars' which I had replaced when I bought the bike, that should be right for what I have now (hope I haven't over compensated with length ;)).
