Thanks, @speedrattle. That's really good to know--especially the part about them still being responsible even with the sign.

I have purchased the following for the IOM 2022, ferry ticket and accommodation for the TT, ferry and accommodation for the Southern 100 (no more tickets are available as the SPC are now fully booked) and the Classic TT/MGP ferry and accommodation (ouch) the cost has been eye watering, still after 2 years of no island racing I thought sod it and booked them. Ride safe all.

I’ve bought some big lumps of Oak..,man cave and garage underway….Jeez …Oak is expensive. The guys I’ve got doing the works are just brilliant. Slightly bonkers but brilliant. So I’ve spent all day yesterday sanding down my other purchases, some Oak frames we’ve bought off eBay. It’s going to be brilliant when it’s done but will make getting the bike out of the bike store a bit tricky. But I want to get my car in the dry and out of sight.

Some Oxford heated grips for my Tracer 700. Already got a set on my Z900RS and they work super dooper.

Bought this to reproof my Rukka textiles. Not tested them in heavy rain yet, but hopeful that it will give them a boost.

1" up & 1" back risers. I've been waiting...and waiting for Motone to get these in. The black are always out of stock and he's not even listing a chrome or silver set. I found a nice set of machined aluminum risers on EBAY. $125.00, $35.00 less than the Motone set. I installed them and took a ride. Very happy with them. Well made and solid. That little bit of extra height and pull back really make a difference in comfort.

Now that the riding season is pretty much over I'll have plenty of time to fit this, the Innovv K3:

Dual cameras and gps module. I was also looking at the K5, as apparently the wifi on that is quicker and the front camera 4K. The DVR integrated with the front camera put me off though. Too much hassle with wiring and getting the SD card out.

It's the Innovv K3. Should arrive this afternoon.

What have you got at present?
And what software do you use for editing footage please?

Mine is a 4 year old Chinese clone with (supposedly) 1080 resolution on front and back camera. The DVR has a screen to set up and view videos and it’s located under my seat and always on with the ignition.

No idea what it’s called and I would not recommend it. The quality is terrible but good enough to use in an insurance claim but not to record awesome rides like yours over the mountains.

The good thing is that both front and back camera are very discrete.

When I have edited the videos I use Apple’s Final Cut Pro and use both front and back footage, syncing the streams so you can watch both together and cut between them on the master or even do a Picture in Picture (like a rear view mirror) and video/audio are in synchronised. It is also able to software steady the shots and do other Gucci processing of common workflows, titles, transitions, etc.

I played around with an open source video editing tool - DaVinci Resolve that allowed me to do some pretty clever edits (not of the bike, but instead recorded my son siting in three places on a sofa (reading a book, playing the PS4, etc) then editing to make it look like I had cloned him as all were on the screen. It’s harder to use but has many good features. Don’t try using Blender unless you have a degree in Hyper Computer Science, Engineering and Software Development.

    I digress.

I’m very tempted by your choice.

I got mine yesterday. Looks a sturdy piece of kit, all components made of machined billet.
Perhaps this is of interest to you:

Not for the bike, but I got a Nextbase 522gw for my car. It is being fitted by Halfords on Friday for £55.

    Update….
Picked up the box of tricks today. Need to charge the camera before it is fitted and used.
