During todays essential bike run I went to Rob's world of beer and selected Old speckled hen so cheers. I am now really looking forward to trying it once beer thirty rolls around.

 

Yes, @Yorkshireman, I think alcohol definitely aids in recovery. If not of my arm then certainly my brain. And speaking of my arm, that photo captures it at its best at the moment. That’s its max bendability. But it’s getting a little better day by day. Must be the alcohol!

 

Tonight it's a Gimlet made with The Botanist gin and a nice chunky wedge of fresh lime on top of the Roses lime juice. I may contract the coronavirus but at least I won't get scurvy!

Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone! A little nip of Don Julio "1942" followed by a nice curbside takeout Mexican meal of fish tacos and beans.

 

Fish tacos blah, go out on a limb and try buche tacos. On another note, Not exactly Mexican but available at some Mexican joints try Leche de Tigra. Elixer of the gods.

Hopefully drinking this now will make amends for my previous post. I know duck has a fondness for assault rifles and attack helicopters.

Finished all the yard work and cleaned windows. Spruced up Blue and Virginia, as they had some rain. Now it's time to tip a cow.

I’ve cut out most of the carbs, so no bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, or beer....

been that way now for two months and surprisingly I dont miss it TOO much. I’d be lying if i said I wasn't tempted every now and then but the s far I have resisted.

On the up side I’ve lost 13kgs, and my bike is faster than it was!

 

Just about been spoilt for choice today - all day that is, sun shining - lots of cold beer, fresh chicken and salad wraps followed by CAKE yes ok birthday cake One candle did not bother with the other 60 !!! this evening bit more cold beer, then vodka with fresh orange plenty of ice followed by a Chinese takeaway (no not Covid 19) Special chow mein, chips, rice and curry then ok more cold beer all together been a reet canny day that at 11.56 pm is nearly over so pouring my last vodka with orange for the road, the road to bed that is.
