I agree, @Patchinko. Happy times very sadly missed. Mr. Sandi and I are going to name our backyard different pub names so we can pretend we're going to different places. Tonight we're calling our backyard pub "The Patio Lounge". ;)

Last night our pub of choice was "Casa Patio Cantina". Mr. Sandi had one (well, two) Mexican beers. Yes, Corona. ;):joy: I had a shot (well, three) of Don Julio 1942 tequila. We chased our drinks with marcona almonds and chips and guacamole. Annie the Boxer just hung out with her pack. These pub "excursions" around 5pm have become the highlight of our day.

Had a little pity party with two guys from work in the garage last night after work. One growler and various other. This was particularly potent.

Wife Beater is from Streetcar named Desire. Stella was the long suffering wife of Stanley Kowalski (Played by Brando in the 1948 film). The remembered scene of drunk Brando yelling Stella to take him back is the reason. The rest of the story.

Ha! You rose to the occasion, DD, no pun intended. I did think of that but figured I’d let someone else bring it up, so to speak. ;):joy:

It’s funny, the story I heard was that they purchased it at Christmas for any limp wristed visitors that might drop in. Unfortunately, not enough of them did, so they kept it for their rally where they knew there’d be some shandy drinking Southerners to palm it off on.

You’re from darn sarf aren’t you DD :kissing_heart:

As my Easter weekend started today at 5, I had a shot from an old bottle of potcheen I was given many years ago!

    God, that's strong!

On the beer now as I don't want to completely rot my intestines :)
