Oooh! So the anticipation builds, DD! And only 30 days until Christmas. Hmmm, it does sound like Mrs. DD may have ordered all 8 bottles on your list if you opened two Amazon boxes that held about 8 bottles. At least it seems to improve the odds. Even if those are not the bottles on your list, at least you spotted the Redbreast & Greet Spot. Can't go wrong with those!! If Mrs. DD has ordered all 8 bottles on your list after your request for her to pick "a few", she gets my vote for wife of the year. And I'll be on the next flight there to join you for an expansive blind taste test.
"What am I drinking this evening?" - Sod all !!! I've been out thurs, friday, saturday and sunday !!! I need a couple of nights off
Could just be a 'starter' whiskey, with a more subtle flavour, which will leave the drinker thinking that something is missing and a burning desire for more. Does that distillery produce something a little ...err ... stronger perhaps? It could be a trap. BEWARE!!!
I salute you Sir, for going that extra mile in the trenches to make the rest of the world go around. Seriously no LOL. Can we get some cheers and likes for those that serve above and beyond.
Well, now I might have to get both a bottle of the white label Bushmill's along with a bottle of the Dubliner, DD. If you absolutely positively had to choose one, which would it be??
Hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut, a dill pickle, potato chips, and a Firestone "Union Jack" IPA with which to watch Monday Night Football. My Minnesota Vikings lost to the dreaded Seattle Seahawks. Boo hoo. I was crying in my Union Jack. But the beer did help me drown my sorrows.
A most excellent use and example of the psychological skill of "rationalization", DD! And not drinking that delicious bottle all by yourself indicates that you can also break out the "sharing" skill when appropriate. Maybe next time you buy two bottles-- one for yourself and another to share?
