Glad to see this thread has been revived after a dry couple of months. Thanks for kicking it back into gear in style, @Vulpes. I've been considering posting a few pics and comments about what I've been drinking but with this thread being so quiet I was afraid I'd be the only one on here and appear to be a lush. Pics and comments to resume.....my evening cocktail never stopped. I do miss Dilli's posts on this thread...they always seemed to me to be a bit like "Where's Waldo?" but it was "Where's JD?" instead.

 

A local white wine... very agreeable!

 

@Vulpes , You are making me feel like i've not been out of the house enough in 51 years!!!

And after a great dinner a local beer and some less luxurious local wine...

 

@Ducatitotriumph I'm sorry mate... take it when you can get it, is my motto... (we had an excellent meal of freshly caught sea-bream, by the way... ).

Wow, the whole deal is amazing, @Vulpes! Great ambience, delicious food, outstanding adult beverages, your beautiful wife. Are you two celebrating something...an anniversary, perhaps? If it's passing her motorcycle tests that you're celebrating, I'm going to sign up for an advanced class and see if Mr. Sandi will treat me to a celebration like this one when (if) I pass.

Followed by a wee snifter (the Glenlivet) on the seaside...

 

Another delicious local white, enjoyed ensconced under lovely vines...

 

GnT with Bombay Bramble blackberry and raspberry gin. Just recently tried this gin and although I usually don’t care for flavored booze, this is an unbelievable drink when the weather is a bit on the hot side. I ordered this in at the shop I work at, and have already sold a few bottles.

For the keen-eyed the answer is yes, this is not the first drink out of the bottle…

 

At the risk of boring you all a local rosé and a greek beer on the beach..

Due to a face to face meeting being cancelled and changed to an online “teams” meeting… I’m having a couple of glasses of my new favourite cheap and cheerful!!!

 

That's great about "teams meetings" - you can switch off the camera and have a swig...

 

I’m certainly not feeling bored, Vulpes! I think it’s something more like envy. I hope you and Mrs. V continue to have a fabulous time until you have to hit the road back to reality.
