What you drinking tonight?

Gotta finish the old one and start the new one EXACTLY as you mean to go on, huh? Well - ENJOY and have a great year .... hopefully with less pain and discomfort!

 

Sat at work, nothing stronger than coffee to drink here, though there is a bottle of vodka in the cupboard to treat methanol poisoning.
Hope you all have the best possible time you can.

 

Tonight I shall be drinking whatever I can but with every glass, bottle or can I shall be wishing us all and our families and friends, a very Happy 2021 and a better safer world for us all.

New Year’s and Birthday dinner for my Girl, Costco lobster and crab legs. Washed down with some high class box wine hey, that’s what she likes... HAPPY NEW YEAR’S TO ALL

 

My wife got a nice Sauvignon Blanc in a Wine box . It clearly said on the side of the box that it would last for up to a week after opening . It didn’t ... it was all gone in 2 days .

 

It's not what I'm drinking tonight--it's what I'm drinking this morning. Mr. Sandi and I toasted the new year at 10:15am this morning with his famous Bloody Mary's! Cheers!

Now I'm off for a little walk in the neighborhood hills to burn off the alcohol before we hop on our bikes to toast the new year with a ride.

 

Happy New Year's Day! Mr. Sandi and I bookended our day with one of his Bloody Mary's on the AM end and sparkling wine on the PM end. I made mine a "French 75" cocktail (the gin version).

 

My Ginny said she likes the simple things in her life......

 

Actually poured some whiskey and Canada down the sink before retiring last night!!
Think I’ve been overfacing myself on free booze.

Hey, dilligaf, one of wifey’s friends was saying she has Osteoarthritis in a shoulder and uses a Magnesium Oil Spray on it, and, she reckons it helps.
I’ve never heard of such stuff before, let alone use Magnesium in a spray.

Had a proper Manhattan last night in the backyard around sunset. Bone Snapper and Vya vermouth with Angostura bitters and a Luxardo cherry. Ahhh....

 

Seeing off the dregs of Christmas.
It's more of a slop bucket than a drink with a defined name.
Just finished a bottle of white stuff from France that didn't get drank on new years eve.
I blame screw cap bottles you can lay down in the fridge when half full. There was a time when that bottle would have needed to be demolished 9 days ago.
That's progress for you.

Not quite so many thanks for making my iconic Chevy Bel Air forum name 3 years older. Chevy's were rubbish then. Mine was definitely the best year.

 

Oops! Sorry for the model year error, Chevy. I do getting that accurate is very important when it comes to vehicles.

Regarding the slop bucket, I'm thinking it should head south--as in south down the drain.

Mr. Sandi made his famous Hunter's Chicken this evening accompanied by risotto. I just get in the way when he's cooking so poured a dram of Redbreast and waited for dinner with anticipation in the back yard. Yes, I did desecrate a wonderful Irish whiskey with a single ice cube...



Mr. Sandi selected a nice Spanish Rioja to accompany our dinner which was absolutely delicious! I love that man. For dessert it was Tunnock's Dark Chocolate Caramel Wafer Biscuits (thanks to @Adie P.)!
