I was a decades long JD drinker til some kind sole put me onto this......

I've heard that was good. Lately a few sips of Bulleit has been my choice on the occasion. That's smooth stuff.

 

Found it smoother than the bullet. A bit too smooth whilst watching the football the other night !!

Careful, DD. The printing on those boxes lie. I bought a box of whine that said it'd last 6 weeks after opening it and it was gone in just one day.

I also picked this gin up in Arizona last weekend. One of t he few gins I actually like on the rocks, it also mixes very well with tonic, of course.

 

That gin is made here, and I'd never heard of it!

I had this big fat Hendrick's martini the evening of the day that we said our goodbyes to Annie. We went to a local restaurant and sat out on the patio to get out of the house and to toast our beloved boxer and do some reminiscing through our tears.

I actually had two of these things. I asked Mr. Sandi to drive because I knew I needed to drink. It did help a little bit but of course we still woke up to an empty house the next morning.
