I know what you mean, there's just too much gear, its overwhelming and puts me off buying.

That said I got my Shoei from there. They price matched, ordered the colour scheme I wanted and swapped the cheek pads for the ones that best fitted me.

This street twin brings out the idiot in me more than my 765rs and often makes me feel like Mr Ben.
Yesterday, I'm Steve Mcqueen in the Great Escape

Next week, I might be Arnie in Terminator..... I'll be back

Would have thought that the hole would go at the bottom. That said the badge looks nice.

    Cursed it/Kicked it/Fixed it,
Months back i got the Daytona ready for an MOT only for it to play up in the MOT station. The lights would not work on dip at all:mad:. Due to time i have not had a chance/could`nt` be ar$$ d,You get the picture. So yesterday got in the man cave full of enthusiasm & actually had a result. The headlamp loom which is separate to the main one had no continuity. Today went to Ivan of Triumph wolverhampton & as he had stock of a complete loom /headlamp loom & handle bar switch , i bought the lot as spares & for whatever else this old gal can throw at me. Back in the man cave for 10 mins & she`s fixed! Hoobluminrahhh:)

We have similar thoughts on J&S.
Wife and I went to the Doncaster store, mainly for the buttie van outside but also for her some new gloves.
She tries a few on in ladies 7 and the only comfortable pair are £180.....
I asked where is the variety to be told, oh we're expecting a delivery!
    : unamused:

I'm still quite shocked that they got rid of all bikes en masse but apparently they take x3 as much money now as before.
I'm not surprised with gloves at those prices.

    No thanks.

I have always found j&S at Delamere friendly and competitively priced for my biking accessories. There is loads of items in stock and I can usually find what I want.
Four ways is a good cafe, the wife and I often just go for a breakfast.

    And a few more.
Weather was glorious until we'd been there 20 minutes, then it hammered it down. An hour later, now damp and some had left, it was too hot for jackets and back to a good day.... bizarre.

Quite a well attended event with a good variety of bikes to see.

Recently purchased a 2020 Speed Twin and have started to fiddle with it, putting a few accessories onto it, nothing major, so it's not like I've crashed into Halfords shop window.
    Optimate charging lead
    Triumph Black rear bobbins
Replacing the chrome yoke nut with the Thruxton one
Fitting the TEC long clutch and brake levers
Fitting the Arton Works clock dials

I have will do an install video on each as I go along....
here's the link to the first accessory fitment.

Put some new clock dials on my 2020 Speed Twin, from Arton Works, an Italian company. Found the OEM'S to be a bit fussy....anyway here's a link to my YouTube page if anyone is considering changing them. The new ones are great and a massive improvement, but crap at showing the warning lights if the dials are bathed in full sunlight

I went out for a lovely 80 mile blast early this morning on my Street Triple (solo, Helmut is on call for work). Didn’t stop to take any photos but did discover a new road that will be worthy of further exploration :grinning:.

What did you use to polish your visor, @Dartplayer? I rode in rain quite a lot lately (Sturgis trip) and had some real issues with rain not beading up and messing up my vision.

    Hi Sandi,
I hope you are not being affected by Cyclone Hillary :cold_sweat::poop:
The best is to thoroughly clean and use RainX plastic, magic stuff. I haven’t used their anti fog, but use this on my boat
I also use a product to detail my bikes and helmet between washes which works really well.

Thanks, Dartplayer! I appreciate the info and recommendation. I know you have much more experience than I when it comes to rain riding needs. :):sun::cool::joy:

We've been only slightly affected by Hurricane Hillary as of the moment. It was quite stormy-looking and very, very windy today but the key word is "looking". Only a few scant drops of rain which we desperately need.
