Forgot to say they have fantastic coffee there, well worth the trip by itself. Apparently George North is in charge of the coffee choices (he is part owner I believe)

Wow, the BaffleHaus looks like an amazing place, @Helmut Visor! I think I'd find an excuse to go there at every opportunity. Thanks for sharing all the fun photos. I'm so glad that @Mrs Visor is enjoying her freedom and her Striple. I'm sure the two of you are looking forward to many more wonderful riding adventures together. :)

I have to confess to waking up early, having coffee and then going for my run as dawn broke because I was all excited that I was getting to ride my Striple again today, same as I did last week for my very first ride o_O .

That baffleculture.com place looks pretty cool. Methinks I'll go have a peep. Thanks for that Mr&Mrs Visor - I'd not even heard of it, but, then again I don't get out much.

It was really friendly and the prices were good too; first time we'd been.

    Bliss.

I took the freshly MOT’d Daytona out for a 30 mile blat today, first decent ride in 5+ year on this bike. The roads were damp but it was a mild 11 degrees C and I got home grinning from ear to ear. :grinning:

The new more upright riding position is an absolute game changer for me.

I think you might be too busy building bikes to think about riding right now, @Iron. ;):joy: I hope you do get out to BaffleHaus, though. Might do you good to get out of the garage! But not for too long, because we’re following your build thread with bated breath. ;)

Rode to work again, gorgeous cold frosty, one of those "good to be alive days" took the A40 scenic route over to llanlwch, I've had this T100 almost exactly a year and I'm really enjoying it.

Having got back from a two week hoilday in the cannaries where the temperatures were in the high teens and early twenties, a 5c start on dry roads seemed like a cold but great way to reconnect with my tiger sport. I had a great ride down through staffordshire to watch my granson play rugby. It warmed up to circa 7c for my ride the long way home. It was great to be back on two wheels :):) folllowed by a couple of pints in my local.

Welcome back, @Wessa! I hope you had a great holiday. It sounds like you're quickly back in the swing of things at home again now, too. :)

The holiday was great; two weeks cruising was brilliant. However, I missed riding when I was away, you cannot beat being on your bike.

Yesterday I finally took the time and effort to remove the reflectors from the fender struts of El Gordo, my new Fat Boy. About a week ago I removed the reflectors and adhesive residue off my forks with a hair dryer, fishing line, and some lighter fluid. And a lot of elbow grease.

Interestingly, it took very little of either time or effort this time around. :) The fender reflectors were attached far less securely than were the fork reflectors, contrary to what I was expecting. I still used my trusty pink Revlon hair dryer to initially soften the adhesive then got the removal process started with a bit of fishing ling. But then both reflectors pulled right off because the adhesive was merely some double sided sort of "puffy" tape. In fact, they pulled off so easily that I suspect they'd have come off by themselves or nearly so when summer's searing heat rolled around here in Arizona. Mot of the tape remained on the fender strut but I could roll it off easily with my fingers leaving just a bit of adhesive to remove with a bit of tea tree oil.

I have @capt and @Dartplayer to thank for their recommendation of using tea tree oil to remove adhesive residue in @Fork Lock's thread on debadging tips. I'd been using lighter fluid at the recommendation of the service manager at my local Triumph dealership. Last week I saw a small bottle of tea tree oil at Trader Joe's while grocery shopping so I bought it to give it a try. I'm a convert! :grinning: Although there wasn't much residue to clean up, the tea tree oil did the trick and smelled a heckuva lot better than the lighter fluid. ;):joy:
