As a professional **** attending a colleague’s wedding, I once rode from Germany to the UK with a sword similarly strapped cavalry style to my Beemer.

once got stopped on the A1 somewhere between Doncaster and Grantham by the cops when I was coming back from a Living history event at Warwick with kite shield and sword strapped to the back of my 250n

good job they weren't around earlier as I had to move the bike mid show and rode it through Warwick in full Viking gear

Managed to squeeze in a couple of hours on the Daytona in the local countryside - very nice :)

That will be the last ride before starting various winter jobs - got the Panzer for winter use.

I'm looking to get into buffoonery on my bike using a magic formulation kindly supplied by DD. Your tank looks as glittery as a diamond TCbanditUK........what cleaning compound did you use to obtain that sparkling finish please?

Nothing so far, it's just been resprayed and is being reassembled at the dealers (That pic is all I've seen of it so far :D)
The glitter is the metalflake in the Triumph Phantom Black base layer.

Finally got a ride in with the wrapped grips I posted earlier. The result was what I hoped, the larger grip diameter combined with the gel in the wrap was much better on my hands. No bunching of the heavier gloves and no aching or cramping in my hands. I also added to the bug collection.

I’ve used that for weatherproofing cable splices. It is a bit gummy when it gets hot and is not very tough. I put a layer of good cloth friction tape or vinyl tape over my splices. I wouldn’t think it would end up as squishy or last as well. Tennis racquet wrap would work I think.
