It was over two hours in the saddle and I needed a hand to get my jacket on
Rode a fair bit of the way just using my right arm and resting my left on my leg or the tank :)
Very painful but I made it :)
Hopefully get them injections on Wednesday and hoping for good results so I can go to the farmyard rally at the end of the month

Took a ride out to Tintern Abbey through the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley then back way to the Steel Horse Cafe and home.

Passed a dozen or so Triumphs going the other way as I was getting to the Abbey, couldn't have been a forum rideout as there were way too many Triumphs on the group.

Just to clarify, my “like” emoji response to your post is related to the bikes and not the other thing you mentioned, MrB.

Speaking of MV Augusta's (@MadMrB), check out my friend's MV Dragster 800RR. This photo doesn't do it justice. It's bee-yoo-tee-ful!

With much excitement and anticipation, opened the box from Norman Hyde. This has been on order since June. Apparently the shutdown and start-up has crippled the industry. At any rate, got the new intake bell mouth (aluminum billet), Pea-shooter silencers and new main jets 128. Installed the bell mouth in minutes. I have not installed the rain shield, as I don't ride regular in bad weather. The silencers went on without any real problems. It took me a bit of time to figure out the orientation, but all is well. I installed the new jets by just dropping the bowls and accessing the jet. Right side was a breeze, but left side is a bit more complex. Went from stock 110 to recommended 128.

Started Virginia up and was immediately satisfied with the sound. Much louder than stock, but not abrasive. Took it for a short blast and was surprised on the power increase and tractability. This is a wonderful upgrade. Seems to me that Norman Hyde spent some time sorting this, so plonks like me can make it happen. Thanks.

Took a devious route to Snetterton yesterday.....98 miles each way via Grafham, Grantchester, Earith and Mildenhall. Good to see some different countryside and a little club racing at the end. Got back too late to post yesterday.

The guy who owns the Jag reckons there are only two original versions of this in the world (plus a few copies). Asked the wife for one for Christmas.
