Spent the day on a leisurely 150 mile loop around mostly quiet country roads. Weather was perfect, sunny but not hot enough to actually overheat in my leather jacket Every time I pass wind turbines I get a weird feeling of surrealness, the scale looks all wrong and it's like alien invaders have landed...
Lovely picture. Know what you mean about the sentinel wind generators but rather that than polluting smut from a coal fired station? Does that air-brake on the back work brown mouse?
A great picture Martin, a real calendar shot that bike looks nice is that an oil temp gauge in the filler neck?
Oh yes indeed. And I don't think they spoil a view of the countryside, though I know a lot disagree with that. It just does strange things to my brain which can't reconcile the scales of the objects in view.
Fitted a bullet seat and cowl to my Street Twin. Happy with that. Could get even happier if the rain stays off and i can get out on it...
Today I fitted a set of Norman Hyde mirror extenders, fed up at looking at my elbows and a side stand extender, makes it easier to operate with my size 13 clodhoppers
I had one of them and the visor mechanism was shit to move up. Just a little button thing at the top of the crap fitting visor. Also, the only way to get the visor to seal from the rain was to close it and heat it up with a hairdryer and try and bend it/mould it. Shit.
Adjusted the front suspension preload up after recommendation from tyre shop. Short squirt around the b-roads to test and appears firm but forgiving. Need to set the riding sag next
