First image is of fitting today of 'Moio cnc.com' bar risers. Disadvantage of these seems to be that you have to roll right forward of the centre line adjustment or right aft to allow clearance to tighten the clamping allen bolts (Upper body of clamp fouls allen key otherwise). Might resort to getting standard stainless bolts to allow tightening of both sets from either side. Advantage is, these are considerable cheaper than the Rox counterparts. Sorry about quality of photographs - camera on phone is carp. Had been getting neck crut through leaning forwards and downwards. Hopefully, this will cure it.

Second is of recently assembled sliding carriage assembly with parts provided by Tallpaul. Enabled me to use the plastic base-plate and aluminium top plate and thus avoid either disposing of these or adapting to a rigid mount. You can see that the previous owner had made a rigid mount for his non-Tiger by drilling countersunk holes for the required fittings.

Looking forward to trying them both out when the torrential rain over Northants has stopped and now that I have a mesh jacket. Far too hot otherwise.

Whilst in France my Triumph tank pad fell off, no glue left on rubber pad. Went to Triumph West Yorkshire this morning and they replaced the pad FOC no hassles. They are really good to deal with.

Booked the Street Cup for it’s annual service and MOT at Oxford Triumph in October. Having some Conti Road Attack 3s fitted as well (following good report on this forum) and fork oil change ( still find it odd that you have to remove the forks just to change the oil ) .
Still I am getting a loan bike for the day so looking forward to give something else a try. Will be surprise to see what it is

Took my Street Triple to Youles Manchester today and they had a good look at it while I took a T120 Black out for a few hours. Liked the ride. It was comfy and handled well. It sounds good too. Brakes were not too hot but then the brakes on my Striple are top notch. Hate the brown seat and black pipes, the down pipes were already getting odd white bits that seemingly were hard/impossible to clean off. Got a reasonable px quote for the Striple in the end but I'm not sure if the T120 has that smack me in the face wow factor that makes me want to shell out for one. To be honest the colour choice is not great, the best being the Bud Ekins which is even more expensive than the others. The Jury is out.

Just removed the rear wheel on my T595 to replace the tyre only to find some paint peeling off. Have decided to put on new tyre anyway and then get both wheels done over winter layup. Might even get full respray done to make it a minter, love this bike especially in the Strontium yellow I have. First bike the other half has liked since I've been with her so it HAS to be a keeper.

Had a bell myself but couldn't get on with it (clip down not solid enough and expensive to buy a pinlock visor as original doesn't have one),

Got the seat off my 98 sprint recovered and added some more padding. IMG_20200815_155322.jpg
Got a Hagon mono shock last week to replace the old one , as you can't adjust the preload anymore.

Been fiddling with pre adjustment on rear shocks, I had some issues on handling previously and cranked pre load up to 5 which seemed to solve the ‘light’ feeling on the front end, however having recently removed the rear wheel to get a flat fixed and replace the chain, lining everything up properly has improved handling quite significantly, moved preload down to second notch and the bike rides much nicer and less like a hard tail:)

So I’m assuming when the bike was delivered from the dealer they hadn’t checked wheel alignment which quite surprises me:eek:

My Son In-law is an up holsterer by trade , in Bullsbrook WA !
I got my shock new Old Stock from JCS in Perth . Marked as $795 I got it for $625 so 15% or so off.
I'm still waiting for him to put a cost on the job !
It seems it will be more comfortable , sat on it briefly placed upon a box. It has an inch more padding , some fibre stuffing also to help with being able to adjust and align the new vinyl cover , it would 'stick' and be harder to pull all the crease's out without it.
He also trimmed some of the harder sharp edges off , more rounded under the inner butt/thigh area :);):);)

@Duckadiledundee I will take photographs and put some words on here about the shock replacement.
I have done this before , many years ago on my 94 Trident, there was a guy in Perth suburbs who would put non-rebuildable original triumph shock in a lathe , he would cut off the top of the damping tube about 1/2 3/4 inch down from top and strip and rebuild internals. Then weld it back up on his lathe to align everything. Then fill with oil , passing a fine needle between stem and seal , and re-gass via same needle.
All for $300/$350 about 1/3 or less than a replacement part would cost.
The removal and replacement of the shock wasn't TOO hard , just a dirty and fiddly job , spending a couple of hours on knees under the bike.
Cleaning everything was the longest part of the job.
Can't remember which , but one bolt , bottom I think was a right ¢¥nt to get at / off. But otherwise doable.
