Rode the Rocket to go and buy this for Mrs Owls comfort and joined forces with @littleade . Have to admit I was sceptical but after a test ride and ignoring my bias I think it is a fantastic bike to ride. Mrs Owl loves it and it means I can now take the backrest off the Rocket. Woooohoooo....

 

Showed one of the boys this morning with a T3 2.5 and he was impressed

 

Shot out for breakfast before work, fog and a little rain.
Good mixed grill, expresso coffee, and interesting company.
Beautiful ride back

 

Both my Girls ❤️ ❤️ outside the Mt Helena pub Last Thursday.
Had a good country pub lunch met a fellow triumph rider. He wasn't there on his bike(1200 trophy) but we had a good Natter ! Bloody HD turned up , a new model, it had to park next to my girl , luckily I'd cleaned her before the ride ! Plenty of on lookers and only good comments. Many surprised she's 22 !!

 

Norbert is so happy his butt is positively glowing, pete! Looks and sounds great. Nice work!

Not what I’ve done, but what I’m thinking of doing. With some health issues I can see in the future that the low riding position on my Street Cup will be a problem. In long rides it’s already taking some of the fun out of it. The thing is, I’ve put a lot of work into this one and don’t want another bike. I’m thinking of swapping a Street Scrambler bar onto it. I know I will have to also source a matching clutch cable and brake line. Anyone know of anything else, or have the parts lying around they would like to get rid of?

 

Had a nice afternoon with the Bonneville riding through Northamptonshire villages...

 

Had a very pleasant solo pootle on the TS down the Tweed to Peebles then via Cardona and Mountbenger to St Mary’s Loch and over the top on the single track road from Cappercleuch to Tweedsmuir and back home. Quite a few genteel Triumphs encountered from Speed Twins and Triple to Tiger 800s.

The whole thing was marred by a posse heading up the A701 from Moffat 60% of whom had the loudest exhausts imaginable. One Ducati was in the bleeding ears league. Moronically anti-social........and ultimately anti bike.
