Me and mate had a ride upto lordstones cafe knowing full well it was shut but thought I could show him we’re they hand glide off as it hell of a view but we couldn’t get in, he’s only got crf250l so we were only going 55-60,at those speed my 1200 scrambler did 71 mpg which impressed me, I noticed my rear brake was binding slightly when out so I’ve cleaned and re greased rear Caliper which sorted it.

yesterday after work, first ride on the 1050 ST. Bought it 7 weeks ago, put hands on 10 days ago, time to fix and check, Climbed up and down le Mont Revard to break in the new pads. Cool bike, very easy to ride and comfy. Today I need to find a new excuse to ride again. :grinning:

I just intend to do a short test run, and ended to make it longer. No time for pictures that time, didn't want family to worry too much it took me so long. Next time you'll have some.

Had a bimble into Chester today. It was very busy down by the river. The warm weather definitely brought out the ladies ..... there were a few bikes there as well.

Last couple of days I've had to use my bike as a runaround as my wife's scooter was having its carb replaced. Got to ride along the beaches each day though - photo tonight at sunset.

    Hi Mate,
beaches in and around Pattaya are average at best - the really beautiful white sand, crystal clear blue water beaches are down south in Phuket. The buoys are just for demarcation as far as I know - normally for designated safe swimming areas, but this one leading to a boat ramp. No sharks in Thailand to worry about (save the landlubber scammers).
