I don't think I'll be able to see it once it's painted in all honesty but what I will say it is they're very flimsy and shit quality.

Recently, riding my Speedmaster hasn't been as comfortable as I remembered. One thing I've noticed is that the seat feels like it's sagging (perhaps it's just my arse:)). So in a fit of extravagance I ordered another seat...

    seat.jpg

I'm not quite as mad as you're thinking ;)

It's possibly a long shot that my seat has become compressed after only 16,000 miles, tomorrow's ride will confirm if the new one is any better (first sit says there isn't much difference). But, my plan B is that if the new seat didn't fix the problem, then I now have a spare that I can have a go at re-stuffing. And if that doesn't work out, plan C is that I have a spare seat pan I can use to base a new seat on. Perhaps I'm getting cocky after my success with making a pillion seat.

I blame coronavirus for all this because a) I have a bit of surplus cash after 2 month's of not spending under lockdown, and b) it's reinstilled the sentiment of carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. :p

No, you got that last bit wrong 'minimum credula postero' = smallest credible posterior (I think;))

Or to quote Wikipedia where I ended up after Googling 'carpe diem', the quote translates as "Seize the day, put very little trust in tomorrow (the future)"

Went for a ride on Sunday along the A259 from Eastbourne to Hythe for a Social distancing lunch on the beach with my dad, managed to cover about 160 miles that day on my 2012 Street Triple, felt great to be out!!!!

Went for a run over to Rutland Water, using a pretty indirect route, mostly via B roads. When I got home, I had a numb bum :no_mouth: and was covered in bugs

Hardly any traffic other than bikers, we got onto a few b roads and had them to ourselves which was great! We noticed quite a few bikers had stopped at a fish and chip shop in Rye which must be popular and just about the only one open! plenty of space on the beaches to relax away from people which was good

If the traffics still light I’m off that way at the weekend the A259 is good for a rip up from Pevensey to Little Common:)

When tuning carbs a slightly higher tickover helps as if you lower the one cyl that was keeping the motor ticking over it will stall as the other 2 need turning up as a guess.
