I started my Speedmaster up the other day and kept touching up the header pipes and mufflers..they heated up equally both sides which was good news. Why one side seemed to cool down much quicker last time I went for a proper ride I dont know.
I did check the plugs and they looked more or less the same ...a bit on the lean side but thats to be expected?
Other news is my local dealership has gone bust so will have to get at the back of a long queue at my other choice 75 miles away.
I have been in touch with Triumph and they have kindly offered to pay for the labour costs of my 1st 500 mile service.

I bought some for my HD Dyna Lowrider 2 small tangos and a pop bag! I am just about to sell them if you know anyone interested. Im gutted as they are quality bags..last forever.
Mine are shaped for external rear shocks so would look a bit strange on my Speedmaster if I could adapt them to fit.

Is that Three Cross that has gone bust? If it is that's a pity, they seemed to have a good, solid reputation for service and customer support.

Yes, apparently so, they have been around for years. This is my 1st Triumph so I haven't had much dealings with them apart from buying my bike which was a bit of an ordeal in the end.

Are your bags Triumph? I think I got the wrong end of the stick they looked like Ends Cuioi bags. Thanks for the link though I might try that.

Dropped my Speed Twin off for its first service and to have the Ohlins fitted and frame scratches fixed. I also rode Triumph Pattaya's demo Rocket 3 on a short 6km loop with my wife on the back. As I've now ridden the worlds largest production motorcycle, I bought a T-shirt to commemorate the occasion.

As it's liberation day here today I took it for a celebrational run. We must remember our freedom was paid for in blood.
This is the former royal palace in our village.

Riding it and taking the very long way to and from work -on the way here, at lunch, and on the way home. A 3 minute ride becomes a 20 minute ride.

Until recently I owned the world's largest V twin production bike (125 ci/2053 cc). What a beast! Sold it and bought my Bonnie!

Had a mercy mission today for my eldest son, who strained a thigh muscle. Got the thruxton out for a trip to the chemist for a stretch bandage, and then rode it over to his place. 32 mile round trip and I did not stray of the direct route, good boy am I. Lovely.

Unfortunately no, he was playing with his son in the garden. Not sure exactly what happened, but it looks bloody painful.

So pleased you clarified that @Duckadiledundee . If they had turned that colour they would have looked like proper plumbs :)
