took the bonnie out for a local ride, about 35 miles, lots of flood water including on the roads in places, but not so windy today. the TORS sound great whilst riding and the new seat does seem more comfortable than the stocker

New X-Pipe, V&H exhaust, and Tune.

She’s a whole different beast now.

Ordered a new helmet to replace my eight year old one, after trying many on. Wanted another plain white one, found out helmets with graphics that didn't tickle many young fancies can be marked down 53%. Pics to follow when it arrives. A Bell star with the MIPS system.

Had my local shop do the V&H Tune. It is recommended after a Decat and new exhaust.

Interesting. I was under the impression that the bike's 'brain' sorts itself out after a few miles but then I've got the TEC end cans and not V&H, so maybe that's the difference.

Put the grab rail and rear seat back onto NUDGER :)
Engine casings and chrome all look very dull after washing at the weekend :(
So I’ve sprayed everything with WD40 and straight away I can see it’ll clean up ok
Need to remove the Monimoto tracker the battery tender lead and my Gerbing heated gloves lead :)
Gonna give it a bit of a polishing before I hand him over

I also thought the same thing and rode around for a while without a tune. A friend of mine who also has V&H exhaust recommended I do it. I can honestly tell you that it made a noticeable difference.

Getting the cat out was the most tedious part of the job. It took me about 2-3 hours for the disassembly. It only took me one hour for the assembly. Now mind you, I don't have a lift and did the work myself with the help of a few youtube videos :p
Also, please make sure you use a torque wrench and torque everything back to spec. Good luck.
