SWMBO and my good self went for a 300 odd klm round trip ride. Went to Bolgart Trees Cafe for an early lunch.

Got there about 11:30am, and thought bugger been beaten to it . But the Cafe was well up to getting 20 rider's on 15 or so bike's served in quick time. And the food was great. Had a talk with some of the rider's.
They were a club !!

Finally decided today to peek under the protective layer of crap on my 14 yr old swingarm and re-grease the pivot.
Suffice to say the back end is now disassembled and there is precious little that doesn’t need stripping back to bare metal along with centre stand, calliper carrier ....... Primer and Hammerite tomorrow
I prefer riding to restoring but needs must. T100s don’t really cut it as a rat bike.

 

Scarlett is definitely a high maintenance and persnickety gal, Ron. I knew I liked her for a reason beyond her obvious good looks.

Actually I was repairing it.my 02 955i sprung a leak last night and I let it get a little hot before I noticed.115 Celsius. So needless to say ,I was worried.not now thank god but she held together nicely .

 

Spotted a nice 2008 Daytona for sale. A nice metallic blue, not a scratch on it. Looked like a new bike. I’m not sure what they wanted for it as it was at a dealership and the staff were too busy leaning on the counter talking with their bros to even say hi. Tempted to go back and ask, and say it’s just what I’m looking for but too bad I won’t buy from a bunch of wankers.
Just a tick over 10k on the clock, found an ad which say asking price is $3999. Don’t know much about these bikes as far as problems to look for or value. Looks good though.
