500 mile service on the Speed Twin today. Told them about the Booster Plug so hoping they take that into account doing the diagnostic. Managed to melt an Oxford Cover on the headers, so will spend some time trying to remove melted plastic. Any tips appreciated!

I am Still in the middle with my 2006 Scrambler, carb of course. I have been looking for info on the ignition system for this model. I have the Triumph shop manual and it outlines some procedures for troubleshooting, it does not list the resistance ranges for the plug wires, or plug caps. in fact, I need as much info on all the ign. components.

Any assistance with these numbers will be most appreciated.

    Thanks guys!

Tigger and big Tigger (1050) went to Goring - Sea Lane Cafe. Unfortunately we were less than 10 minutes too late to order the breakfast as there is a unquestionable law that means they can't take orders for breakfasts after 11:30! You can get food with all the same ingredients and they were sill cooking and serving earlier Breakfasts orders.

I'll not go back there again. It was their choice to watch £20 walk out the door and never to return. Silly buggers. Trip Advisor review coming up!

Other than that here's some pictures of loonies on kites (taken on my super new iPhone 11 Pro Max - awesome camera and they haven't enabled all the cool stuff yet!).

We then went off to a Destination Triumph event in Coolham but didn't bother to have rides. There were some interesting bikes in the carpark like this...

Not sure I have ranted enough about Sea Lane Cafe yet. W@nK3r5.

Edit: there’s now a rant (albeit a polite one) about Sea Lane Cafe on Trip Advisor. Seems others think the owner is rude/incompetent too...

Went for a blat on the Speedy this afternoon then dropped into Moto Corsa, the local bike dealers, they had an end of season event with a hog roast and draw etc but instead I had a slice of Victoria sponge and a hot chocolate in their cafe :yum after a look around the showroom at shiny, expensive MV's etc.

As you may know Scorpion don't currently do an exhaust for the latest version of the speed. After speaking with them I agreed to lend them my bike to develop a system for said model. Got a guided tour of the factory. Everything made in house. Sean the boss is a top bloke.

That sounds really cool, I have a Scorpion Serket on my Speed Triple, had an issue earlier this year as the paint started flaking off the red ring around the outlet, contacted them and they sorted it free of charge, great sounding exhaust too, hope they're going to give you a freebie for your troubles :p

Meant to put this up the other day - just 2 new wires soldered in. The rest were flexible and intact. Bike is running properly again and my lights have got brighter!

Start the bike up , get the headers slightly too hot to touch , only slightly . Then peel away !!
