Today I'me resting after the weekend, the club organised a ride of the Fosse Way to commemorate the founding of the Fosse Riders MCA.
I left home at 6.00 Saturday evening and rode to Lincoln via our clubroom to start my run down as much of the old route that is still a surfaced road. left Lincoln about 9.30 arriving in Exeter about 6.00 on Sunday morning and after breakfast with other Fosse riders who had stayed overnight in Premier Inn we convoyed off for fuel and onto Cirencester to meet other club members who weren't able make the whole ride (cue coffee and cakes and photos).
A few groups then rode to Moreton in Marsh where there was a bit more space to park and better coffee and cake. I continued to Lincoln to complete the two way ride, owing to a couple of navigational errors (got lost in the dark!!) I didn't follow the planned route but still rode just over 700 miles now the Trophy needs some attention, chain tension adjustment especially.
Pics of Darryl and Angaraj getting ready for Darryl's birthday in the clubroom,
Trophy at Lincoln and the gathering at Cirencester.

A good day for the speedy RS!
Right, triumph heated grips fitted, (major PIA getting the split pins out on the bar ends!) so if you don't have a 3mm punch, don't try/start!! No, an allen key or torx bit won't work..... Just makes it worse....
    Evotech rad and oil guards.
And, as an added bonus, sw-motech Kobra handguards (fitted with the pins out of the bars during the heated grip install!) and the little extension pieces.
Sun went in so no pics until tomorrow.
A few pro bolt bits arriving tomorrow and also the r&g fenda extenda along with crankcase and clutch protection.
Fitted crash bungs yesterday on mid and front for only £35 per set. Seriously, they really are brilliant and well worth it (ok, not aero like r&g ones but at that price..??)

New experience last night that took some patience. 184km of usually fun ride with good combination of hills, flat, twisties and straights.
Been many times but not at night in the rain (in winter). Lest to say it was slippery :cold_sweat:

I got greedy today, took the speed twin for a 4hs run this morning around Cheshire and Shropshire and then this afternoon took the T'bird LT for a blast. The difference between the two bikes could not be so stark, but they are both fun in their own way....

No Corbin of any description for me thanks! Andy is basing the seat on the Bonneville style, adding 1" to the front and 2" to the pillion, inserting some decent gel pads, new cover in black with white piping.
