Got one gripe! Now I have 2 tigers to clean all the crap off!!

 

Took the missus out on the Bonneville to Crossgates for a late breakfast, then back along the Newtown Road. Turned right over the top to Kinighton and then Ludlow for coffee and home for a shower while the bike cools. Job done!

 

How does that work are you on call or on duty?

Is that really how people dress up to ride their bikes, if so I seriously need to up my game!

 

We sign up for a night then are on call between 7pm and 6am for that night. Might get 3 runs out might get none

 

I reckon that guy has been reading a hipster magazine Hamburg, his gear all looks very new, he'll have a beard and tattoos next

 

You get posers on modern plastic rockets so I suppose classics can have a similar crowd. . ...... only older

Never seen anyone accessorise with what looks like a plug spanner before.

 

Today I went to Aberdeen to get the first service done on my street triple R, also got a rear seat cowl, red rear paddock stand bobbins, evo-tech radiator guard and bar end mirrors £400 lighter but it was a good ride through and back with only a short 5 minute downpour.

 

You need to remove the rear pillion pegs, transforms the bike

 

I did ask them to do it but I think the sales manager forgot to tell the workshop. They said it would be a 2 hour job and unfortunately didn't have time to do it today I will get it done as I'm never going to take a passenger

 

How could it possibly take two hours?!? Do they cut them off with a nail file?

 

When I collected the bike I mentioned it to the salesman that I would like them removed, he told me that it was easy enough just remove the battery. So I said that at it's 500 mile service I will just get them to remove for me. When I mentioned it to the service manager he told me that they had to remove part of the frame to remove the pegs and he needs to remind the sales team that it's about 2 hours labour. I don't know who to believe now

Went for a nice ride to Robin Hood Bay, lovely roads and lovely weather.
