Managed to get the Trident started last night after a bit of swearing, great to hear the bike running again. Will be picking up my new front mudguard from the dealer this afternoon so can get fairly close to getting the thing finished by the end of the weekend.

Fired the Speed up for the first time with the Scorpion can, man it's loud without the baffle; will have to give it a good run to see if I can get away without the baffle. Looks a whole lot tidier with the Scorpion fitted and the foot pegs removed and I think I've changed my mind about a tail tidy and LED indicators; time to save some pennies....

Went out to the mancave & the America was covered in condensation.... Once i get the electric & some heating sorted for the shed then it wont be a problem. Anyway, dried it off then fired it up for the first time in three weeks & she started first time! Not bad considering its not plugged into my Optimate charger.

Just need to find some time now to get the wheels off, remove tyres & wheel bearings & get them powder coated then fit the new wheel bearings & refit the tyres.

Why not? Some like that carbon fibre plastic stuff & others, like me, prefer the powder coated look.

Took the Daytona out for a run yesterday and the dam thing kept cutting out and dying until I put the fuel tap on prime, I have taken the tank off and what I think happened is that the return pipe from the carbs to the tank has got blocked off so I moved it so it should not cause an issue again.... I hope. If not then will have to clean out the filter and tap to see if there is the blockage there.

One of the front forks has been butchered and I need to drill out the bottom bolt and I would also like to kick the ass of the idiot that tried to undo it last time, would have had the bloody things done

Still trying to sell those bikes but at the moment trying to nail the owner down on a price is a bit difficult

Ordered a custom made RFID keyless ignition kit working on a "proximity sensor" principle, no need to remove the "key" from my pocket at all. Now I can rip off and toss the busted ignition lock and get the lock mounting hole milled off of the top triple
