Finally picked my ST up today from my mates garage, it was there for 7 weeks in total whilst we had a new kitchen fitted. Took the long way home, I’ll give it deep clean tomorrow, weather permitting.

I got out today, and enjoyed every minute IMG_20190303_152501484_HDR.jpg . I headed to Alford then up the Lecht Ski centre, there was no snow and I had the whole IMG_20190303_150414304_HDR.jpg place to myself, except the staff, the owners must be suffering this winter.

Well not today, as it's going to be TOO HOT 44°c forecast for today ! Yesterday was only 32°c but later in the mid afternoon, so got lucky and did a 340 odd klm round trip through the Chittering valley stopped for lunch and a drink at the Scotalian pub just outside Bindoon township. When we left we couldn't go North as bushfires had started. Saw many fire fighter units heading north as we headed south and home. It got quite big and homesh were under threat, fire fighters did a great job ... No houses were lost

Great news Capt, you’ve had a dry run this summer. Good to hear you had some cooler :joy: temps (32’) to get some miles in.
I’ve been struggling with 26, in leathers, do feel your pain at 40’

    Greetings!

    Hopefully I posted this correctly!

Well .. here in Blighty we had some odd springs days in last week or so...I went for a thrash around... Saltburn, Staines, Runswick bay, Whitby, Pickering, Helmsley, Stokesley...and then another day Richmond...clearly breaking the occasional rule...and you Triumph people, where did you go ?

Cockbridge to Tomintoul (the one thats closed first every year, Terry Wigan's favourite) over the Lecht. A little nippy, I needed my heated grips. I stopped at the café, 4 staff and me.

Rode it, Chepstow, Tintern, Monmouth, Gloucester and back home. Wet, muddy and cold, it was great.

In the garage tonight with NUDGER :)
Got loads of little jobs done
Adjusted handle bars up a little :)
Adjusted levers and controls to suit the angle of my arms/wrists :)
Lifted the gear lever up a bit :)
Fitted my new Triumph mirrors :)
They’re not a straight swap though  and I had to make some spacers and use longer bolts but well worth it as they look really good and suit the bike as well as having a bigger mirror area :)
And.... I got round to finishing the application of NUDGERS bright RED LIPSTICK:eek:

I’ll see if I can take some pictures tomorrow and post them up :p

Took the switch apart for the heated grips on the Sprint. Plenty of contract cleaner and then WD40. The switch now works perfectly, the heated grips not so much, mildly warm rather than hot on full.
