Had a little run out to Helmsley, the so-called Yorkshire TT this morning-bit of a Nip on the fingers but well worth a blast!

 

Put on the Denali Soundbomb mini i got from Santa. Put the wiring on the bike for Keis heated liner gloves.
Went for a hour long ride to test the effectiveness of both.
Horn - much louder but when i pulled up outside my sister's and tooted she didn't hear it so its not immensely loud.
As it was only 2-3 celcius with the gloves set on high or medium (i bought the optional temperature controller) there wasn't much difference between the two settings. I had alpinestars yukon gloves over the top so not really expensive super winter gloves but my hands didn't get cold. Certainly didn't get sweaty but never got at all chilly.

 

Love that Helmsley to Stokesley (TT) road. Used to do it on the Mille when I lived up there

 

That is a lovely bike Ron, must be quite a rarity in North America, there can’t be many others in that condition on the road.

Wanted a crush washer for the sump plug on my Trident, the one to fit the 22mm drain plug using a 12mm hex key from the tool kit. Previously had trouble finding them locally, so I took a used one to a local car parts shop as an example of what I needed. The guy behind the counter took one look at it and said "Sump plug washer off an old BMW?" Obviously I corrected him and advised him of how washing his mouth out with soap and water would increase his personal kerb appeal. Seems he had a customer who had an elderly BMW (we are talking car here) who had the same problem as me getting hold of the correct washers. 99p each (HOW MUCH??) but saved on p&p.

One dozy driver not looking past a door or screen pillar and he is burnt toast.....

Well that set the motorcyclist/ public relations back a bit, seriously thought that was going to take a couple of minutes with the overtaking decisions he was making, I assume he’s single and has terminal cancer and doesn’t give a f for others

 

Age thing who knows but that took me two attempts to watch that through !!!!
What a crackerjack that guy is, speed is one thing to enjoy so long as its out on some decent out of town roads, that's taking the piss as far as I'm concerned, but we all know or have known at least one of these type of guys
