Possibly someone has removed the forks and replaced them, thinking the line is the position, not 5mm above the line ,as stated in the manual.
When you said line a couple of days ago I thought you meant the bulge in the fork.
Mine must be on the line exactly.
I can almost flat foot both feet and my inside leg is 29in.

Ive had a look and the dog bones look standard,


The forks are on the line, If I had to guess ,Id say the previous owner has decided to try and sharpen the turn in ,and lowered the yolk through the fork.
Ill have to see how I feel about leaving / replacing the forks.
Im just glad Im not paying out for dog bones.

just finished adding heated grips and screen to my Speedmaster.
Starting to get chilly here in UK.

 

Still have not made up my mind what type of heated grips to get. What type did you go for?

 

KOSO cheapest I could find, took a bit of carving to get the throttle one on

Got them from Squaredeals make sure you pick the 1" think that gets you a 25mm left and 28mm for throttle

 

Had a short run out on the speedmaster, quite warm but a little damp here in Cheshire. Not sure I will get much riding in for the next few days as the weather does not look that good..... Keep hoping though.

Like spring down here in Essex, just about to put EBC HH pads on the speedy and give it a little run to bed them in.

 

Brake kit arrived read instructions and looking for time to fit
UPDATE fitted and tested, looks great and slows smoothly. Gallery of installation steps and end result

 

Not had a problem with them before, so sticking with them for now, but unfortunately the "spring weather" turned rather damp, so no bed in today.

It could probably be done but You can use a car or control, just as important

Take the calls from the hospitals and despatch the rider or driver. Good thing is it can be done from home. Don’t know what part of the Uk you’re in but look up bloodbikes on tinternet and you’ll find all the info you need. We have a guy who uses an old bsa and another on a Ducati sports bike
