I only take the yank comment because I had the misfortune of being born on the wrong side of the pond! I ride as far down as 0c as long as it’s dry, and as for a limey hiding in the house from a bit of weather we should pity the little hothouse flower :D

Gonna raise the 2010 Speed Triple on the Abba Skylift
    Remove wheels
    Remove brake pads
    Deep clean callipers
    May fit new brake pads
May fit new tyres- not needed but I have a pair of Michelin pilots to install before proper winter is here
    Clean radiator
Give the whole bike a good clean
    ACF50

    Should keep me busy

What are those abba skylifts like? do they take much room in the garage when not in use?

Had a great ride around the back roads of Norfolk today and did not see onr tractor. Ended up at the usual coffee stop (Sunny Hunny) and quite a few othe r riders had the same idea.

    Not much room
I remove the middle support leg (2 pinch bolts) and park my bike next to it
Floor space needed is actually quite small
You can wheel your bike around on them so long as the floor is smooth

Definitely make working on the bike easier
Would need a paddock stand for the rear too

Because of the cold weather :cold_sweat: and all the talking about battery tenders just lately I thought I’d better get mine fitted to NUDGER :)
What a pain in the arse getting to the battery terminals on these new Speedmasters:mad:
While I was doing this I also hooked up the plug for heated gloves etc :)
    Anyway all done now :)

Took a trip north and picked up a bike stand, yesterday, southern summer on its way but hail and Thunderstorms today stopped me getting a nitrous fill (free) for the tyres.
Managed to make my bobbins with some M8 bolts washers and nylon bushes. Brakes leaving Australia this week, can’t wait

    Thanks Tucker,
I had taken a large towel to stow it under my rear guard bag, but with the width I was happy the seller had cable ties to secure for the 40 minute ride home. I did get some funny looks and queries at my photo destination o_O will add some pix with correct use when the brembos turn up

Well the worlds longest most drawn out 12,000 mile service rolls on and today it was the valve clearances and new spark plugs. Happy days, all within tolerance and the valve cover went back on with no drama. I haven’t started the engine yet but it all looks sealed up properly. Next up, throttle balance. (and test of the valve cover gasket o_O)

Clearly the poor sod still has an outside convenience where he gets most of his reading done. Cold hands can be wicked when wiping.......

totally agree with you HT,most other bike dealers could learn a thing or two from them, I was in a BMW dealers a couple of weeks ago and they couldn't have been nicer,i was also offered various test rides but didn't have time so the next free day I have I'll be taking up their offer
