Had a great day riding the mountains after nearly two weeks of daily rain. Clocked over 350 miles today, that’s the longest day I’ve had so far. Even with the drier weather I still got caught in a quick downpour twice today, but everything dries out eventually:D

After a good scrub I added these little baubles just for fun. Also, it seems I’m wearing my front tire much faster than the back. I run almost no highway miles, all curves, so don’t know if that’s normal or not.

I check before each ride, using the recommended pressures in my manual. 36 psi rear and 32 front, so don’t really know where to go from there.

Due to almost no straight road miles I don’t have even a hint of a flat spot on the back tire after over 3k miles, so I’d say the front is getting a good thrashing!

Had a little ride over the old Severn bridge, up the Wye Valley road to Monmouth and then back down the B4293.
Followed a Tiger for a few miles taking it easy well within the speed limits. Was a tad warm but enjoyable nonetheless

Testing day! Tested my patience lol about 10 times ! New caliper for the Daytona 1000 tightens up a treat, works far too well though as once its grabbed the disc it wont bloody let go lol:poop:. Spent ages trying to free it up. See how it is in the morning. Also had the Thermostat out to double check that works ok which it does. New coolant while I was at it.

Took the longer way to work today, alongside Furness Abbey, a huge northern powerhouse in its day.
