Had an 80 mile trundle on the Trident to Squires (the long way!) for a pot of tea. What a pleasant way to while away a few hours. Bike was running beautifully, as usual, the roads were quiet and the weather was just right.
Didn't have the need for speed, it was pure relaxation - well, as far as it can be when riding. Too much relaxation can be somewhat painful!
However, on a straight and empty piece of local road, accelerating off a roundabout, I wapped it open in 2nd gear just for the hell of it. The bike shouted to me "About fooking time, I was getting bored" (made up that bit, obviously - well bred bikes don't swear) as it took off towards the horizon at a most delinquent rate of acceleration with me hanging on for dear life. Feck my old boots, that old bike still flies if given the opportunity. Feels like either the bike is getting faster or I'm getting older - I'm sure it was never that fast before though!

Collected my custom seat which I have just had made, I think it looks great and with good Gel Insert its so comfortable

Too low !! Scraping the arse going around roundabouts

Quite spacious compared to a Caterham or such like.

 

bet That load slowed it down by 30%

 

Definitely having your arse less than 2" from the tarmac makes it feel a tad quick.
Even with a pair of racing snake's like me n DD, that thing feels fast as feck. Noise is seriously loud, could even hear it with my duff ear!

 

A bit disappointed - just over a week in and one of the dipped lights has given in. I've sent a photo and complaint to the supplier, will see what happens...

Thanks. Probably just a loose contact, but as you can't get inside, replacement is the only option...

Rode up to Thruxton today for the BSB qualifying and some support races, met a few of the riders, Haslam, Cooper and Hickman, cracking day, same again tomorrow for race day
