Did a once over, today. I had some Goop to add and was having a hard time getting it through the valves, then I remembered my giant syringe, thats the way to do that, went from a 20 minute effort, to a 2 minute breeze.
Then I checked the chain and thanks to Andypandys gear oil it didnt need any work.
The rear brake had been missed last week when I did the front so I stripped it, and Im glad I did,the pins were corroded and sticking on the pads, not now, sorted and tested,so the bikes good to go.
I set off on Tuesday morning, ( it a long way to Wales ;))

Fitted sav navs to both my Speedy RS the Speedy 1050 belonging to "er in doors" Friday evening. A meandering ride down to Milford on Sea Saturday morning, which was great fun. Saug-tastic sausage 'n mash with a red wine jus, don't ya know in the Smuggler's Inn. Several beers were required to slate our thirsts and a walk back to the accommodation. ride home this morning, swinging by Loomies for breakfast and to meet up with a friend riding back from Summerset
    A great weekend.....

    Nice one DD,
    Nice one Dilligaf

Anyone would think there’s some kinda mutual gathering happening soon where the participants get to gaze at each other’s road tools and admire their raucous cacophony at about one in the morning (guess?) as the needle bends on the limiter!

    Have fun Dudes n Gals!

Yeah mate locking cap comes as standard :) and one key fits all...ignition/fuel cap/steering lock :)they should be standard on all bikes
My BPOS was the only bike I can remember owning that didn’t have a locking cap:(

Happy NBD @Dozers Dad, @dilligaf, nice purchases! Couldn't ask for much better weather for getting used to them.

Don't know which I prefer, DD - the new bike (drool drool slobber!) or the Man Cave Rules (entirely appropriate for most of those hereabouts).

Think it has to be the bike, but I could be swayed under the right circumstances!:grinning:

Went for a lovely ride on Bonnie all around Sussex. The suspension stills needs a little tweak after fitting new rear and new progressive springs and adjusters. Seems just a little vague on the faster sweeping bends so may need a few clicks here and there. The difference between what it is now and what it was like when I first got it is unbelievable though. :):)

Sell it mate! It looks awful - almost as bad as a POS topbox! (How to ruin the look of a beautiful bike at the front and the back!) :D:D

Too right! First thing I did was take them off my Tiger when I got it home. I think I know by now to put petrol in it and wear a helmet! :p:p
