Put a new Remus on mine, looks and sounds much better than standard well impressed and a lovely easy fit.

Ordered the following for fitting to my new 2010 Speed Triple

And a pair of Wisamic 5.75" led lights (black) off Amazon

 

I see they put the bunting up for your arrival Steve, you must be a big cheese in those parts.

 

More went up when I left!

 

Oil and filter change for Mr Bonneville today along with chain clean, lube and adjustment.

Note use of correct filter removal tool children and my rather stylish Halfords oil can!
Cable-tie funnel in place to stop potential spillage.

Also refitted my centre stand with new spring. The old one got stretched because the last time I removed the RH silencer I didn't take note of where the clamp bolt was and it consequently fouled the spring plate. You can see how close it is to the bolt in this pic and the score line on the plate.

 

Enjoyed the nice weather, pootled about on the wee dykes.

The stock seems brighter????

 

The stock lamp is very diffused resulting in a greater spread of light, the new light is much more focused where needed, it is a proper white light emitted as opposed to the very yellow standard H4 bulb

When I can, I will see about taking some photos with a fixed ISO, shutter speed and apature so a direct comparison can be made.
