Had the chain & sprockets changed on the tiger 800 yesterday & the brake calipers cleaned up...Chain & sprockets did well really...26,500 miles with a scottoiler fitted, probably could of gone further but with a trip abroard coming up I wanted to be certain all is well as it can be....

Just drained the oil and removed the oil filter from my BPOS:eek:
Actually I’m quite surprised at how clean the oil was and the condition of it :)
Left it to drain into the drip tray overnight :)

Better get some oil and a filter I suppose

That's the key to it, getting all the old shit out takes time.

New tyres on my speedy too and fitted my shiny new Scorpion exhaust at the weekend, other than a wash and polish she's ready to roll :p

 What a shit hole
Went into my garage to start fitting the brake pads and putting the oil filter on etc :)
Cannot get moved because of all the crap that’s accumulated on the bike lift the workbench and the floor :(
    Bloody trailer doesn’t help
Most of it is left over stuff from various projects :(
So instead of cracking on with the jobs I wanna do I’ve just spent more than 3hrs tidying up with two large bins outside the side door and just chucking everything I don’t need or use out :)
Having a sandwich and a cuppa and a bit of a warm up then I’ll go back in and hopefully finish what I set out to do :p

    :grinning: That’s it done :grinning:
Pads fitted front and back :)
    Oil and filter changed :)
Touched up the wrap on the exhausts where it had gone white :( cos it’s gotta be BLACK
Rest of the bike could do with a bit of spit and polish
But I can’t be arsed at the moment and it won’t fail an MOT cos it’s dirty :p

Well, On my way to Edinburgh from hull, stopped in newbiggin by the sea for the night, realised I wouldn’t be riding my bikes this weekend so drowned my sorrows with fish and chips on the beach

Well the good thing is for the price of one southern chip I can buy 3 fish dinners up there, so having bought only the 1 chip I might be able to afford to retire early, actually I’m lying I bought 2 and had the other in My pocket saved for breakfast!

Started to prep the Legend for the riding season. Think I wanna put new chain n sprocket and new rear tyre too. Not strictly necessary, but the old girl likes a treat now and again.
