Tropical here in the north west (10 degrees don't ya know). Pulled the T'bird LT out of the garge and had a ride out in the sunshine; just brilliant for a first ride this year.

Washed the winter grit and grime off and put a good coat of wax on the paintwork. Sprayed everything else with some Muc Off MO94. Makes everything look like new. Bolted up my stone guard.

First day with my new steed and so removed the Triumph back box bracket and replaced with a Givi universal Monokey bracket. Bit of modifiying and its sitting nice on the metal triumph plate bracket.

Thank you, sir. I think it is coming along quite nicely. Now if I just had some better weather. I’m tired of cold weather although I have put over 1000 miles on the clock in the last two months!

I’ve waited a bit to mention this to give those involved a fair chance, but here goes. I had to remove the brake levers I purchased from TEC bike parts, because they would not actuate the small switch that engages the brake light. On the Street Twin based bikes the brake light is normally on until you release the lever, which then uses a machined tab to catch the micro switch and turn off the brake light. The levers I received had this tab machined too short, therefore not able to catch this switch. I contacted TEC USA about this. It took a week to get a reply which was to say basically “We have sold hundreds of these and have not ever had this problem, but we will let the UK branch know”. This was around the 25th of last month and I have heard naught from anyone. So I think basically since I’m the only one to have this problem it’s my tough luck by the sound of it. I have heard good and bad about TEC, I’m glad I only lost $40 to find out what my experience was going to be. So, anyone know of a good set of adjustable levers for our bikes? I know where I won’t be buying anything else from.

Had a similar issue with an exhaust my mate bought from them. They couldn't give a toss once sold you the PoS!
Others on the forum rate them highly???......................... Personally I wouldn't give them any of my hard earned cash (well earned!;)) for their products!:cold_sweat:
