    Round your way!
How do you find the comfort factor?
Mines much better than the original SE seat

Took the covers off my LT and street twin today, they have not seen light since late October. Disconected the optimizers and both started first time, well impressed. Still waiting for some better weather before venturing onto the roads.

How does this style of seat attach to the bike ? Was thinking of trying one myself. Not sure how it will look with panniers rails attached either.

    Cheers

Thanks ht. I've got a seat catch fitted too. The sort that has a locating pin or spike screwed to the seat pan. I remove my seat by pulling a cable running along the frame rail. Is this what you have ? I only ask to make sure I can fit a locating pin to this new seat/rack style. Somehow it doesnt look as thick as to accept the self tappers needed to mount the pin to.

    Cheers again.

The one I bought yesterday A9708097, fixes by the usual hooks and thumbscrews. Seen the pin and lock release on my Street Triples / TT600, but.... not on the bonnie 2012 SE. P1030457.JPG P1030458.JPG

That's great StrippleMont. Thank you very much for the images. I can see now it's a standard seat pan style underneath. Perfect.

    Much obliged.

Hope my missus finds it just as funny biglad. Doubt it. Still she was okay yesterday when I was seduced into buying this

That was her fault though. She bought me a pair of halcyon goggles for Christmas. They didn't fit with my current open face lid. :p:p

First trip out on the bike yesterday since arriving down in West Sussex on Saturday.
Roads still very icy in places but made it to Goodwood Circuit only to find the Control Tower cafe was closed! 20171228_112531.jpg 20171228_112243-01.jpeg

Did a good end of the year ride. Temps were near the single digits near the top of the mountains and there was a bit of snow but I eventually thawed out.

Awoke the 900 today from her slumber. She ran like a peach! Same again with the cbx...what a noise! Love it:), but alas the battery had taken a reet hammering by this time & the 1000 Daytona wasn't gonna play. Battery now on charge + it needs a dab of fresh fuel so ill have another go over the weekend.

Yipppeeeeee Fresh battery & errrrr some cussing (+ brake cleaner down her throat) the Daytona 1000 burst into life & ran crisp as! Very timely too as the garage was bloomin cold & the old gal warmed it up a treat.:)
