Ok so fitted the HIDs this weekend, it was a bigger job than I thought it would be. I got Hi-Lo ones that move in and out to create the high and low beams. They are really bright I'm really pleased with them, you can see them on the road even during the day! Haven't taken it out at night yet but should be much better then too.

Well worth the upgrade for £20.

Moved the bike out into my small work area to do some picture shoots for the Engine Shop before I take it up to him and some other pictures for the company that is going to fabricate my forward control kits. Noticed my front fender was loose so you know what that turned into. Yup fender removal, tighten all bolts, add Blue Loctite and reassemble. Was a lot of fun though. Will be more fun once I get the engine work done. Peace.

Ordering a rack, screen and panniers while the bike languishes under its (hopefully waterproof) cover as the summer continues to defy consistency....

I'm saying nothing! However, why waste money - car tyres are cheaper than bike tyres size for size. Just sayin'...

Went for a ride to Borsmose strand. A beach about 20 mins away. 20130803_060629.jpg

Its a tourist area, lots of germans, but nice roads, not much police..

Went for a nice 100 miles with some Street Triples.
Quick change of plan when we ran into some rain.
Finished with coffee and bread pudding at the local cafe.

Nipped round to a friends today and had a cup of tea and a smoke. We chatted, kicked each others tyres and agreed that mine are indeed in desperate need of replacement. Then I came home.

Mine's a daily runner, so won't post much here as it'll just be spammed with facebook status update like posts. :)

That looks well. Is it a different shape to the original?
