Thought I'd pop over to Woburn Triumph and use the pressure washer to remove some of Scotland after my recent trip. Half way through and the heavens opened three hours earlier than forecast. Ah well, next week maybe..

The Transformers look doesn't really do it for me. I'm sure it rides well though as KTM do have a good rep for it.

Yesterday, went over to Rutland Water on my Bonnie with NickH on his Street Scrambler and figwold on his Street Cup. P!$$!ng down for the first hour or so after breakfast, but dried to sunny-ish after lunch. We stopped to warm up over for a cuppa at Cafe Nero in Oakham mid-morning where I was joking that at least on a tiny Bonnie I can't drop it. Then bimbling down the Welland Valley on a narrow road near Loddington/Hallaton, on a down hill at a bend in the damp I slowed to a stop for a little girl on a pony being led by mum and Gran. A farmer had been flaying his hedges, hadn't properly cleared up and as I stopped on a wet thick stick the stick scooted off one side-ways and my front wheel completely lost it and now Bonnie has a wee scrape on the back of the can. One of those sticks that would have cracked apart in the dry.

Figwold had peeled off back home when Nick and I stopped for a cuppa just after the drop, at the the Hillside Cafe at Belton layby on the A47 near Uppingham.

Yesterday I installed some R&G sliders to my Speed Triple
    - Engine sliders R+L
    - Frame sliders (Aero) R+L
    - Rear wheel bobbins (Already have EvoTech sliders on the front)
    - Handlebar bar ends

Didn't take long to fit, although my bike now resembles an R&G spare parts catalog so I intend to replace some of the R&G stickers with Triumph ones.

I don't wish to be tempting fate by fitting this protection but should she slide or just drop, at least I have it covered

Been around that area years ago on my bike. I was amazed how green it was for a hot country. Your right about the roads. Would be worth a trip :)
