Popped up to Hilltop Motorcycles to get the Speed mapped for the low boy pipe.
It shows how bad the generic maps are....!

Not so much 'bad' as 'generic'! Optimised for just about every spot on the face of the planet rather than our cool, sea level conditions. You couldn't spare me a few of those bhp? Even better that torque curve....

Rich Bryce making the most of the facilities at 4.40am - it's clearly exhausting talking bollox all night!

Got the same trailer, an excellent bit of kit !
Using it at the end of next month to take a Speed Triple, a Bonnie and a couple of bicycles (can't be walking to the bar...:D) to the South of France :)

Not really, we were lucky considering the forecast :)
There was a couple of showers but nothing worth stopping to put the waterproofs on.

Although the top end power improvement is nice, it's the low end torque I'm impressed by.

Went up to Krazy Horse yesterday & despite the weather intervening several times the roads up to the place (Bury St Edmonds) are great. From Chelmsford, we went A12, then off at Witham, & through Braintree, Sudbury & through to Bury St Edmonds..... What a great place. Nice bikes, people & food. Proper bike atmosphere & a thoroughly good morning.... Boy O boy have they got some nice custom bikes there..... Harley`s, Norton Commandos & MV Augusta Brutale 800 to name a few + clothing & custom parts too.
As for the Thruxton getting wet, I think the 643 layers of wax on her meant that road surface wet/grime was kept to minimal;);) thankfully:joy:

Ahh.....Sorry mate...if only I`d of known. Still, I`m sure I`ll be back as Arnie says.
I will give you a bit of warning next time dear Sir;)
It reminded me of the Bikeshed in London but without the over the top, extortionate food prices:( nice cool atmosphere. it was about 180 miles round trip for me as I diverted via Chelmsford to pick my mate up on his bonnie. Considering the showers we had yesterday, the thruccy is still remarkably clean:):)
