    I was up and out of Skye at 6.30 I stopped to put in my ear plugs and decided. no more stopping for photos.I could have stopped every 2 minutes and still not caught all the views. I don't exaggerate when I say Glen Coe, was breathtaking as a ride and a spectacle OMFG I want to do it again tomorrow so if Habit can't find me he knows where I'll be. Crispy passed on some off Mr Orange's recommendations for heading south tomorrow.And A last mention for the beautiful Isle of Skye and it's roads

    Yesterday got the spots fitted. New sat nav power cable and new seat bolts.
    Went to Ayr and picked up a 4 foot earth rod for my radios.
    Was glad I didn't attract the attention of the local constabulary as they no doubt would have no been too happy with the earth rod strapped to the right side of the bike with bungies. :)
    Plan for today polish my wheels a bit with mothers aluminium and see if I can get them looking a bit better for the GMU.

    Today I finished the minor bafflectomy, quite happy with the result... will get pics and sound on my project thread when I get chance.

    Been giving mine a spruce up before the GMU today.
    Lesson learned spray polishes are useless on anything other than paintwork.
    Mothers Mag and Aluminium on the other hand is excellent on alloy wheels and other brightwork.
    Still have one side if the rear wheel to do.
    Lunch intervened :)

    Thanks mate, I'm having a great time, sitting here sipping champagne surrounded by LOTS of pressies. Don't need to worry about biking gear for a good while.

    Stove black paint.......shot blasted the downpipes , heated the pipes up with a blowtorch, then sprayed them with stove paint. When they cool down they wont crack when reheated , ;)

    Right starting to get ready to go to the GMU.
    Need to put the panniers on the bike and sort tools out. So far mini compressor and plug and go kit sorted
    Need to decide on what else other than cable ties.
    Looks like a damp start and it's the fault of the Irish ! ;)
    Mustn't forget to turn the plugs off as I leave. No point in wasting electrickity:)
